Our Story
One Marque. One Standard.
The Crown Vault was founded by collectors, on a simple conviction: buying a pre-owned Rolex should feel as considered and as reassuring as the watch itself. Too often it doesn’t. The second-hand market rewards haste and punishes trust — listings without provenance, grading without honesty, prices without logic.
So we built the dealer we wanted to buy from. Not a marketplace, not a high-street chain, and not a generalist with a cabinet of everything — a specialist house that deals in one name only. Rolex is the most counterfeited, most traded and most misunderstood watch in the world. Mastering it completely is the work of a lifetime, and it is the only work we do.
From our London workshop, every Submariner, Daytona, Datejust and GMT-Master that enters the vault is sourced with care, authenticated independently, serviced by our watchmakers and described exactly as it is. We disclose condition, provenance and service history in full — because trust is the only foundation worth building on.
We are proudly independent of Rolex SA. That independence is precisely what allows us to grade honestly, price to the market and act for one person alone: you.

Every pre-owned Rolex is independently authenticated by specialist watchmakers against Rolex factory specifications. If it is not verifiably genuine, it is not in our vault — and authenticity is guaranteed for life.
Curated, Not Collected
We do not list everything we are offered. Only exceptional examples — accurately graded, honestly photographed and described in full — earn a place in the vault.

Every pre-owned Rolex we sell passes five gates before it earns a place in the vault. Most watches offered to us never make it through.

Sourcing
Every watch is sourced from trusted UK collectors, part-exchanges and estate collections — never from anonymous grey-market bulk lots. Provenance is traced before a watch is accepted.

Authentication
Our watchmakers examine the movement, case, dial, bracelet and serial engravings against Rolex factory specifications. Any watch that cannot be verified beyond doubt is rejected.

Servicing & Testing
Each watch is regulated, timed and pressure-tested. Where a service is due, it is completed before sale — using correct parts, with the work documented.

Grading & Presentation
Condition is graded honestly and photographed in high resolution, unretouched. Box, papers and service history are disclosed in full — no surprises, ever.

Aftercare for Life
A 24-month warranty, 14-day returns, and a specialist who remains yours long after delivery — for servicing advice, valuations and your next acquisition.
