Modern Slavery Statement
Our commitment to ethical, transparent sourcing across everything we do.
Financial year 2026 · Last reviewed: July 2026
Crown Vault Ltd is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all our dealings, and to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains. This statement is made in the spirit of section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the steps we take.
Our business & structure
The Crown Vault is an independent UK retailer of pre-owned Rolex watches, based in Leeds. We buy, authenticate, service and sell second-hand watches, and offer valuation and part-exchange services to private clients.
Our supply chains
Because we deal in pre-owned watches, our supply chain is short and largely domestic. It comprises private sellers and vetted trade partners from whom we acquire watches, and a small number of service providers — watchmakers, insured logistics couriers, payment and technology partners, and professional advisers.
Our policies
We expect everyone we work with to share our values. Our approach is supported by our recruitment and staff-conduct practices, our supplier-vetting standards, and a whistleblowing route that allows any concern to be raised confidentially.
Due diligence
- We carry out identity and source-of-funds checks on those we buy from, consistent with our anti-money-laundering obligations.
- We work only with reputable, insured logistics and service partners.
- We assess risk in our supply chain and give greater scrutiny to any relationship that could carry higher risk.
- We expect all partners to uphold the same ethical and labour standards we set for ourselves.
Risk assessment
We consider the risk of modern slavery within our direct operations and immediate supply chain to be low, given their nature, scale and predominantly UK footprint. We remain alert to risk and keep our controls under review.
Training & awareness
Relevant team members are made aware of the risks of modern slavery and human trafficking and of how to recognise and report concerns as part of their induction and ongoing conduct standards.
Zero tolerance
We have zero tolerance for slavery and human trafficking. Any concern can be raised confidentially with our management team at info@thecrownvault.co.uk or by calling +44 7868 170938.
Approval
This statement has been approved by the board of Crown Vault Ltd and will be reviewed and updated annually.
