What is the Rolex “Pepsi”?
The “Pepsi” is the Rolex GMT-Master (and later GMT-Master II) fitted with a red-and-blue bezel. Rolex chose the two colours in the 1950s so pilots crossing time zones could tell day hours from night hours at a glance. The nickname comes from the resemblance to the Pepsi-Cola logo.
